• Code Geass~Lelouch of the Rebellion(Hangyaku no Lelouch/Rurushu) is an awesome anime produced by Sunrise(Gundam series and other animes).
  
  Code Geass feature the theme of war, friendship, betrayal, love, patriotism and others. Not only that, they've their own mecha as well which called as Knightmare Frame.
  
  The storyline takes place on August 10 2010, when Japan was invaded by the Holy Empire of Brittania due to the lack of natural resource. Japan lost in the war and thus, their freedom, their pride and their name were stripped off. The Brittania empire named the then Japan as Area 11 after conquered 1/3 part of the world.
  
  7 years later, a 17 year old student - Lelouch Lamperouge accidentally involved in a mess caused between the local terrorists and the army of Brittania. After reunited with his old childhood friend - Suzaku Kururugi and the discover of a mysterious green haired girl that captured inside a capsule surprised him even more. However, the reunion was ruined when the army of Brittania came. At the critical time, Lelouch was granted the power of Geass after the green haired girl protected him and transfer the power of King (Geass) to him.
  
  From that day, he swears on his power that he will destroy the empire of Brittania and revenge on his past...
