Wikipedia Updates - March 14th
We know Wikipedia have already banned two people who have been voicing their opinions in Wikipedia in polite and civilized manner (one is iamlucifer, one with IP). And they are claiming that the testimonials from our fellow Zorpians are SPAM.
Many Zorpians have tried to disprove these Wikipedia admins' false accusations in the delete review for Zorpia:
They could not find ANY verifiable references about Zorpia
Several Zorpians have posted 10 independent sources that mentioned Zorpia.
The significant ones are:
* USA Today (They recommended their readers to visit Zorpia)
* Alexa, a subsidiary company of Amazon.com. (They ranked Zorpia as 921th website in the world)
* DCIA, a voluntary organization representing the distributed computing industry (They reported Zorpia and Nettwerk's partnership. Nettwerk is the largest independent music label in Canada)
* Online Personals Watch, the owner Mark Brooks worked with Friendster before (He compared zorpia and other sites)
WIKIPEDIA ADMIN CLAIMED ALL THESE 10 SOURCES ARE NOT VALID!
They claimed that Alexa is not reliable. USA Today has no significant mention for Zorpia. All the other sources are blogs, therefore they are not reliable!
BUT NO! Alexa is reliable, even Wikipedia's own Wikipedia entry referenced to Alexa! DCIA and many other sources ARE NOT BLOGS. They are independent news reporting websites!
Online Personals Watch is written by Mark Brooks who worked with Friendster before! He is an expert in the industry!
The sources above fit the requirements for primary and secondary sources in Wikipedia's very own reliable source definition. But they still rejected them ALL!
They do not believe Zorpia has 5 million members
They simply have not been to zorpia.com while they were deciding to delete zorpia. If they have been to Zorpia, they would have seen that the membership is stated on the front page! What's more, they even said our geneuine Zorpians testimonials on Wikipedia are SPAM!
They accused Zorpia is a drug spamming website
One single admin decided that Zorpia is a drug spamming website by searching specifically for ZORPIA + DRUG NAME at google and skipping to the 700th result!
One Zorpian tried to find out if the admin was a good researcher, so he searched Google and was puzzled by the results. He saw a lot of references to different drugs, so he tried revising my search. Here is his result:
wikipedia + A.B + Phentermine: 109,000 Results
Using his method, even he himself is a drug spammer!
Conclusion
Wikipedia have tried to avoid ALL our sound arguments, picked on our sources and are being subjective to Zorpia on applying Wikipedia's guidelines. We still need your help to reinstate our entry! Please write your argument and testimonials on Wikipedia's delete review page. Uploading your photos upholding a sign that says "I love notable Zorpia" will also help a lot!

Wikipedia have made it quite public that they have an ongoing need for funds - although the many rumors that they will close are denied by them, they DO need money!

They may be 'for profit' sooner than we think!

if they dont trust our sorces then dats okay, but why cant they visit zorpia and see it themselves. dont they believe their own eyes.
or i am guessing dat wikipedia has realised their mistake but they dont want to apologize and they still want to show that their sources are correct and ours are false. i mean wikipedia doing such a big mistake and not apologizing after realising it is such a shame.

*sigh*
I am dammed shocked, feel hurt and betrayed by wikipedia's unjustiful behaviour toward Zorpia.
That's all I can say, not in mood to talk but have good confident into many of you good zorpian saving zorpia's good reputation.
Keep up good work.
CHEERzz

this is a message which i got from wikipedia:
"You have been indefinitely blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for spamming talk pages. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. John Reaves (talk) 22:21, 12 March 2007 (UTC)"
well i guess after they remove zorpia.com from the spam thingi, they will remove me and the other IP address.
