.....

a month of CNY holidays is really boring since every college and university has started their classes. my college is always the odd one which takes holidays when no other people is holidaying, and i have to study like crazy when others are enjoying their holiday to the fullest. and because of these i have missed a few trips. haiz.......

meanwhile, the whole of CNY is like previous years. collect ang pau+visiting+sleep+eat. there are only very few things to that i will remember for this new year.

1. i went visiting with my classmates on the third day of the new year. although we only manage to visit a few houses as we spent a lot of time in each house and driving as mostly are very far apart, but at least we have spent more then 12 hours together as it will be more and more difficult to meet each other. one friend left to study in australia national university on the 5th day of new year after securing a schorlarship. a little sad as more and more friends are leaving this country and during new year season, there will be fewer and fewer people to gather and go out. hopefully one day i also will be able to study overseas as so many of my clasmates are or will be going overseas.

2. i nearly met with an accident this new year when i went out with my friends. as i dont really know the way to my teacher's house, i drove behind another friend's car as he knows the way to the location. as usual for new year, the whole town area was packed with cars and every where is traffic jam. my friend who is quite familiar with this place lead the way and went through many short cuts which i dont know it even existed even though it was actually quite near my secondary school. however, because of all this short cut, a car nearly knocked into the back part of my car.

3. i played mahjong with my grandauntie at my auntie's new house. this is the first time i am playing with her as there was never a chance to play it. althought it just lasted about an hour, i think there will be hardly any chance to play with her as i only see her about once or twice a year.

one more semester and i will be graduating for the first time. it is quite happy to be able to graduate but a little sad as some of us will be going on their own path. i may not be able to study and see each other that much, but i will apprecate every moment with all of u.
