Its been my 2nd month here in Malaysia. The CFC community here is aout 90% locals. And they usually speak Bahasa and Mandarin. That's why it's such a joy to meet Filipinos here. We get to speak Tagalog!

And today, we had barbeque party at Ate Evelyn's house. We had a buffet of our favorite Filipino dishes like inihaw na isda, crispy pata, binagoongan, adobo, and my personal favorite... leche flan ni Ate Vicky! Grabe, I even had to get from Ming-ming's (Ate Vicky's daughter) plate because it was the last piece left.

I also got to dance with Ate Josie singing and Ate Cecille teaching me how. I realized my waist feels so rusty already. We also harvested calmansi in Ate Evelyn's backyard.

It was so much fun! All the elements of Filipino parties are there, cooking, eating, singing, drinking and of course picture taking were there. We had so much fun!

We left home happier and heavier. I look forward to our next reunion. And hopefully, we can also get the Filipinos invloved in the community. Who knows? That's hitting two birds with one stone.
