We got our Math Common Test 2 results today;...

We got our Math Common Test 2 results today; we'd just completed it on Saturday. The thing is, I only began studying properly on Friday night. So truthfully, when I arrived (almost late) in school on Saturday, I only had time to check the venue of the test before I went in, and truthfully, I didn't have a very good feeling about it. Mostly I kept recalling the Taekwondo grading we'd just had a while back -- we went in so unprepared that even though Terence Sir said that me, Xinying and Sean were likely to get double, we ended up just passing.

Before the paper though, I made the conscious decision to just give up the whole test to God. And it was surprisingly easy to do. I came out of the LT feeling good about the paper, which is really rare. So I know that the A grade (77 marks) I got for the paper wasn't mine, because I didn't study enough, and I answered many questions I shouldn't have known how to approach. So...yep.

Stayed back after that to play some board games with Michelle, because she had until 5pm to while away. Stratego is a very very scary game. I surrendered a while into the game because I couldn't take the suspense. Then we played Othello, which is a fancy way of saying Reversi. Then we played Checkers and Connect Four on the board, and Michelle taught me how to play Weiqi again. Quite fun. :)

Oh yes. Huixian has taught me how to play Still on the piano. Cool.

I've been in a zoned-out state for the past week or so, and I'm trying to figure out if this is the natural condition of the human being. Been feeling that light-headed not-quite-here feeling. Yep.
