when i was in kindergarten I was a little hyper and had absolutly no problem standing up for myself. I would come to school and if anyone said anything to me or did anything to me I reacted how I saw fit. It was because of this very thing that a young boy named Bryan would torment me and e did it two to three times a day and I got in trouble for it. Bryan would nock over my juice at snack time so I'd stand up to throw it at him and I got in trouble for puposely dumping my juice.

One day I was getting taunted by bryan as he stood on his chair and said, "goodness gratious great balls of fire" crossed his hands hit his naval with his wrists and said, "suck it" I got up on my chair in retaliation and without fail the teacher walked in and told me to sit down. I did except my feet went through the back of the chair and so did the rest of my lower half. I screamed and the teacher came to get me out of that chair but it wouldn't budge. She then asked me why I did it and I explained.

The teacher told me that I need to pick my battles and to tell the teacher when there is ad trouble. Then the rest of the students and I along with the teacher walked to the principall's office and we tryed to get it off there and still no budging. so they called the fire department and someone called the news paper. the firemen had to cut me out of my chair and the news paper had me on the front page.

after this frightening ordeal I decided that I wouldn't stand up for myself anymore and I just excepted what people did to me after that although the teachers didn't. I became every other teacher's pet except the 1st grade teacher the next year but that was because he was a total butt munch. I almost never had to stick up for myself throughout elementery school. all of the teachers loved me and watched over me well so I just kept my reactions for my  defence under cover. My defence of others grew stronger after that though.
