Gil was back from Manila on Saturday's late afternoon. While he was on the way back home and on the train. Gil received a call from concierge of Waterfront... They were telling him to back home immediately because there is a serious flooding at this apartment!!!
Every inches of the apartment was flooded!! Gil went out since last Thursday, so, nobody knows when the pipe was broken and led to such serious flooding!! The people needed to set up sand bags to prevent water keep floating outside the corridors and lifts!! And while opened the door, Gil said our shoes and things were floating! <I could not really imagine such "funny scene". Later, we and Doreen were joking what if we would have had a dog or a cat. Possibly "our pet" would swim and relax in the water.
Then the people using 2 dehydrators to clear all water but the wooden floor were all fuXked up... Gil's landlord came after.. Though the landlord said we may go to other his apartment or go to the hotel, we dont want to move things twice and apartment does not smell bad, Gil did not take his offer.
Well... right now, we need to turn on the air-cons day and night to dry the wooden floor. Although weather was hot yesterday, I felt like I was in the Poles of the World.... SIGH~
Fortunately, Gil is going to Europe to watch the World Cup this Friday til mid-July, people could come and renew the apartment by then.
So, we need to pack things this week!! Good luck~
