Hi, my dear assistant! c.c. my boss
For "the client that I only want to concentrate taking care of" (MK), we have to indicate MK style# and every details of the fabric when sending s/o, swatch or yardage to them. Construction, WEIGHT and cuttable width are very important information and MUST be correct.
~ if our information is not correct, need to find out the reason(s) with mill, then tell MK. Meantime, pse make sure that our recap, email to both MK and mill, our P/I, P/O are amended imm.
~ pse mark the purpose for MK when sending out:-
s/o, h/l, l/d: color approval? pattern layout/repeat approval? or both??
yardage: presentation sample? fit sample? AD sample? Bulk approval? Bulk
washing? Bulk testing? Retesting?
pse make sure DATE and NBR OF SUBMISSION marked correctly in forms and
labels.
~ when send cutting to mill for checking or making h/l, s/o, yardages, pse
make sure face/back, warp/weft direction.
~ when you cutting l/d, h/l, s/o, pse also make sure face/back, warp/weft
direction because color shows diff. during diff. angles. For corduroy, pse
be careful that MK (Kohls/Sonoma) needs to stick by nep down (逆毛對色).
~ when we get price, quote price, get/submit s/o or yardages, pse MUST
UPDATE in recap. It could remind us what we should chase and what we can
submit to MK. (ST370605 corduroy courtland L/D is a good example: we already
asked mill to make l/d and ready in our file, but didn't mark in recap. As
a result, if I didn't find out, think that all of us should have had
forgotten to submit MK!)
~ must do filing EVERYTHING & DAILY BASIS, maybe you cannot file imm.
Print out and place in ur tray, file before lunch once, and before you
leaving once.
~ pse place in CORRECT section for easy referal for all doc., esp. s/o
submission. Even our comment to mill, MK comment, buyer comment, pse attach
to related submission because many times we need to have BIG discussions
with MK/buyer/mill.
Know it may not be easy, pse improve above, if any questions, feel free to
ask me.
When incoming emails from MK, pse not just read the email and made it as
"unread". Like when you do comprehension in school, pse try to get the KEY
words when interpreting msg. HIGHLIGHT the key words and try to MEMORIZE
them. Buyer name, style #, season, fabric details, motivations of this
email etc. Those infos help you ALOT to know next action you need to take
or maybe follow up with mill imm. Also you could know how to filing more
efficiently.
Pse not just help me to write message (e.g. comments to mill/remarks to MK).
Also pay attention to the details. It is because everything is 大同小異.
Also clients/mills may make mistakes too. Therefore, when translating the
message to the parties, BE MORE & MORE CAREFUL & COMPREHENSIVE.Keep on
practising and learning, you can handle the cases by yourself and know how
to communicate with clients&mills by word and voice. Thanks!

好想落筆, 卻發現不知道寫什麼好.
家人 - 個個都好好, 現在大部分時間沒有與家人同住, 所以見面時都唔會鬧交 (其實淨係講緊我阿媽, 同細佬妹就NO PROBLEM). 就算同GIL分開, 我想我也會搬出外面, 租個地方住, 已經想好大概在沙田/大圍火車站沿線. 哈哈 !
朋友 - 謝謝上週陪我一起的, 給我ADVICE的朋友! 因為上週我實在不知所措!SORRY! 我知自己實在太懶了! 放假的時候多想自己一個! 平日的時候太緊張, 我個樣又愈來愈殘, 唔多想大家見到... 同埋覺得自己脫左節? 什麼叫 GAG? 唔問我妹都唔知係咩!
工作 - 嘔血! 唔想提, 太多問題! 空運一大堆, 好驚老板在我來年的花紅扣掉! 前日仲俾廠激到喊. 反省: 我太軟弱嗎? 還是我不懂工作上與人溝通的技巧?
GIL - 上個星期惹怒了他, 我的心情很低落, 連妹妹都驚說我很憔悴! 好不容易星期五晚轉接又突然間大家相安無事, 和好如初. 今個星期他出TRIP, 而且他每年兩次的"大旅遊"日子快到, 整個4月都應該見他不到, 唔知會點, 還未來得及用何種心情面對...
在每一天日日如是的情況下, 真係好無聊.
P.S 今天感冒加發燒, 待在家中休息. 整個星期都沒有碰酒 (去MES AMIS), 現在在家喝悶酒 (GIL瑞士買來的啤梨酒).
