Enveloped by silence
Thoughts and ideas arise
Followed by feelings initiated
By the innocent look in her eyes


Unable to speak

Can't miss a day, a moment
Not a second, unable to blink


The scent of her hair opens my eyes
The whisper of her voice opens my ears
The touch of her hand against my skin
Abruptly chases away all of my fears


Lost in a swirl of feelings
Blinded by beautiful light

Smiles, laughter, comfort
Happiness, trust, devotion
Start of something excellent
Long sought after emotions


All I've ever wanted is to have someone my own
