What about Palestine? Palestine is close to my heart because it shows me how far we have to go. How sick we humans are. The world ignores the suffering of the Palestinians. But those of us who have feeling in our hearts...we can't forget.
What is the solution? Media. With the use of media, the American people can be made aware of what is really happening in Palestine and can bring pressure on the government to lean on Israel to stop with the settlements and work towards a two state solution.
It's all I can think of.

Do you not realize there is a media war? Media is EVERYTHING.
It is a very effective tool in which the goverment controls the people and tells them what to think. And when I say government, I mean the business criminals who *actually* run this country.
The reason there is no support for Palestine here is because all the media shows is that they are all suicide bombers and don't want peace. When they show Israel attacking, they quickly say it is only in "defense".
Most people are not smart enough to withstand daily propaganda. And what they don't understand is...it's constant...it's pervasive.
Regarding 9/11....same thing. It was the biggest propaganda tool ever. They loved it. They got to go into two countries out of that.
I think Bin Laden's knew what the response would be, and that was the point. He hoped to create a reaction big enough to divide the world into Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb...to moblize youth and affect chance. To force people to pick a side.
Only time will tell if he was successful in initiating that catalyst.

But I digress: The point that I was making is that rich Muslims need to step up to the plate (Saudis, I'm looking at you) and put money into the propaganda war. They have the money.
If there were specials and documentaries aired on major networks in this country that showed what is really happening in Palestine....the American people would force the goverment to withdraw support and tolerance for Israeli actions. The only reason security council resolutions on Israel's treatment of Palestinians have either not passed or been ignored is because of us.

The US learned after vietnam that if it wanted to maintain support for a war, it could not let the media show the truth.
They do more then hid the truth...they guide thinking and distract with other stories.
Media outlets don't care who's side their on. Their like whores....they'll go to the customer with the most money.
The sponsers tell them what they can and can't show.

Well - You are agree that the media is under the control of criminals (whether they are looking for business or for power)...............

You brought a very good point regarding Bin Laden......that what he was looking from all this...............

I can only laugh at this thing if someone is hopeful from the rich muslim kingdoms or individuals............. I dont expect a single good deed from them and if there are some people they will be killed soon by traitors or some other powers (as many examples are there from last 50 years even).

He placed the basket of hats on the ground and decided to take a nap under that same old tree. He woke up and realized that all his hats were stolen by the monkeys on the tree. He remembered his grandfather's story, and started scratching his head. The monkeys followed suit. He took off his hat and fanned himself and again the monkeys were doing the same. Now, very convinced of his grandfather's idea, Laloo threw his hat onto the ground but to his surprise, the monkeys still held on to the hats. Then one small monkey climbed down the tree, grabbed the hat lying on the ground, gave Laloo a slap and said.......................

"Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that you sent it through the Finance Ministry in New Delhi, and those donkeys deducted Rs. 300 as taxes!"
