The movie wasnt as good as it seemed. The plot gave me no surprise, it's just a weak version of Dead Poets Society. Earness teacher did everything to make changes in brilliant nerds and succeeded, and finally had herself fired. ..one word, IMITATIVE. despite the "similarity" to DPS those vy cold and sharp conversations in the movie did impressively reflected the mores of the time..it showed how conservative the men were, while all women hving the concept of "i'm to be a housewife" deep-rooted in their mind....being born to follow traditions, they dont need a vocation, all they want in all their life was a family and the status as a perfect hostess.. heh...
how could that be?
if i were born at that time i would probably be an outcast.
coz I BELIEVE IN DIVORCE.

finally back to CA la!!have been out for a few days with emily karen mama jack and his frds. we started off at 3:30am on 25th~~~ i only started packing at the last minute like i always do (coz i slept at karen's hse in the preivous night)~~ and we looked so bulky in all the skiing clothings- sheer pants, down jacket, a few layers of longsleeves, scarf, knit hat...etcetc...hahahaaha had a good morning nap in jack's car, we drove thru SanFran Oakland Sacramental (it's the capital of CA *o*) all the way to Reno and Tahoe!!! This is a pic of karen mama and me outside janet's apartment---> see our kicks!
(mama was too excited) 4 hours later we arrived south tahoe area...it's much much cooler than bay area... temp fell to 0C ~~!! 
jack aaron and michael added chains onto the wheels when we noticed a thin layer of ice on the road, jack said the chains r for safety coz tires would easily lose traction on icy road ~~--
this is a pic of snow falling~^V^~~ all other cars also parked aside to add chains on~~~~ 
what a beautiful scene!!! all the redwoods (not sure) and houses were covered with snow!!! very peaceful~it's how a winter should be*~~and it's our luck to see snow coz jack and his frds usually see ICEflakes falling instead, which is freezingly WET~ we went MAD taking photosssssssss

the skiies r really heavy le~~ anyway controlling them were a lot easier than i imagined,...love the sports even more after the coach said i hv excellent balance + doing reallyreally good~~ wahahahahahahahahaahhhaaaaa~~*he couldnt believe i'm a beginner~~~~~~

Despite the super awesome time skiing, we had a really ۉdinner ... planned to hv buffet at Atlantis, but we were late so we couldnt go in...then we drove to other hotels ..peppermill, hilton.....their buffets r also closed.... ok then we tried restuarants like outback, red lobster, chevys,,,,,,...surprisingly all closed...then we looked for mcdonalds,, jack in the box,, wendys,,.....also CLOSED!!!!!......and u know wt we got finally........frozen food from 7-11.........-____-....
.. gosh... IT"S USA!! it's only 9:30pm in Neveda!!!!! how can all the stores (even Safeway) close so early,,?? they hv no motivation in earning $$$????!! ........!!!

Day2 26th~~~ went sightseeing around Lake Tahoe
~ it's gorgeous and really big like an ocean... bought a stupid "snow toy" for sliding down the snowy slope..

mama took a couple of videos of us sliding down and screaming..very stupid tho...hahahha we left the lake at 4 and drove back for dinner~~~ it's buffet again~~ HK buffets really cant compare with those in here... here they hv all the best food in huge amount.. at least no one needs to fight for oysters and salmons .. after dinner we went to CircusCircus which is a US version g~~~҂Asesame st ~~~ Day3 after brunch buffet @ Peppermill (again*O*) we went Ȫ~~~~~~~*v*!!!

the hotspring pool was really small and we waited for a long time to get a place~~during the time karen and i walked into the snow and had a crazy idea of falling into it ~~and here we leave our dents heeheeeheee---> 
Love the trip!!^v^~~ it's the most special xmas i hv ever had~ thanks jack and his frds for bringing us there.,. Sґԓنmiamilomould,,.. Jack don't forget us after u leave for SJSU ar, callҵسar!

我地今晚3點出發去lake tahoe la~~~wahahaha first time to try skiing and snowboarding!!!!!!jack and his frds will also drive us around tahoe and then bring us to 浸hotspring~€~ we'll hv soooo much fun le!!!!!!
