the last couple of days (especially nights, before i sleep) i've been thinking a lot about something i did recently. i admit that i've never thought about this issue that seriously before. i've really thought through this a lot this time, because it is actually happening now and not just my imagination. i am now certain that the decision i've made is correct, and i'll go with it and try my best at doing it.

the "stuff" i got to do last night was studying for the citizenship test... i didnt wanna say it yet cus i didnt wanna jinx myself =P anyway i just took it today... and i passed :D getting my US passport soon... will take 2~4 months before my oath, and then a couple more weeks for getting the passport. hopefully i can make going back to HK in time in summer.. but if its going to be 4 months, it'll be about end of august and then a couple more weeks, which is end of summer already =/ so i'm not so sure.
and to respond to teresa's testimonial for me, well actually there are lots of stuff i write about here, because one main purpose i keep a journal is that i want to look back in the future to see what i thought about in the past... but then some stuff are kinda personal, so i don't want to say it all out to the public. so i kinda just mention it, i know i will be able to know what i was talking about in the future when i read it, as for others, they can keep guessing =P
in addition, actually, something just happened in my family and i'm not sure if i'm ready to share it yet. that's the reason i said my life was suddenly very chaotic a while ago. i acutally want to write about this some time... it'll be soon.

I wrote about picnic day the last 2 years too, I guess I should write about it this year too. actually I don't remember if I did last year... but anyway, last year it rained a lot on that day, I went out for like 2 hours and went back home already, and didn't do much.
This year it was nice, at least it only rained a little bit, for only short periods of time. The majority of the day was sunny (at least the morning). Actually there wasn't much interesting booths this year... I remember 2 years ago there were lots of fun games. But the parade was nice this year! Or maybe it's because it's my first time seeing the whole thing. I never got up early enough the past 2 years to see it. =P
We walked exceedingly too much that day... =P literally walked around the whole campus 3 times.. first we started from MU and went all the way to Tercero since Jenna wanted to see the animals... then later went back to the MU... but then later we walked all the way over to Tercero *again* because now Phoenix wanted to see the animals and she wasn't there the first time -_- but that's ok, you're supposed to walk around a lot on picnic day anyway =)
Let's see.. places we stopped by including the opening ceremony, MU coffee shop, MUGA, Quads, Tercero, ARC, Animal place, Micromouse competition (congrats to Patrick for winning btw!!! Nice job to Sharon/Keng/Maulin group too for finishing the maze), and other random places.. and I bumped into like a ton of people I know throughout the whole day =O that was pretty nice..
All right stop here for now.. got a lot of stuff to do tonight. Write about it later..

i'm constantly learning new things. something that a friend said reminded me of something that happened with another friend, which in turn reminded me of my own situation, which makes me feel so much better about it. which is very right. sometimes that is all that matters.
