Tuesday,Nov 29 2005, 12:10:16 AMTahoe Trip

This was the best 2 day 2 night trip I've had! It was also the happiest time I've had in a while. I'm also glad that everyone else who went on the trip with me can also say the same thing. =) I love you guys so much so much. Will post pictures later today/tomorrow! [Update: pics are now all posted! View on the left!] We "unofficially" started our trip on Friday afternoon. We started by picking up the first few people and the rental car. Jerry and I picked up Winky and Evera first. We got our mini-van from SF, picked up Huggin, and then went to dinner. There was this thanksgiving hotpot event at a fellowship in Milpitas. I think it wasn't anything different from other fellowships, just that this particular hotpot event had really good food. After dinner we went to pick up Jacky and then headed for Davis. At Davis we picked up June and William and we were ready to go. Our "official" start time of the trip was about 12~1am -- that was when we got everybody on the car. This was not only the first time I drove a mini-van (and for a long distance all at once); it also was the first time I drove in snow land. Not a bad combo to challenge my driving skills >=) At the end we got to South Lake Tahoe safely, so I think I passed. =) Originally I was only going to drive from San Jose to Davis and then let Jerry take turn and drive to Tahoe. But Jerry had accidents driving in narrow hill roads in the dark before and didn't feel comfortable driving in that condition, especially with snow. So once we entered the mountain roads (after Folsom and Placerville basiaclly, on 50-E) we switched again and I finished the remaining drive, which turned out to be around 4 hrs instead of 1. I anticipated it to be 1 hr (I've never been to Tahoe before) because on the map it looked like short distance, but it was all mountain roads so we couldn't really go any faster than 40mph at any point. So instead of getting to the hotel at 2am we got there at 5:30am instead. The hotel office was closed so we had to spend the night somewhere else until 8 when it opens..... but Tahoe was the state borderline between CA and NV, and what that means is, casinos. A casino, being a place that opens 24/7, is naturally our next stop. We spent the time walking around gambling tables, lying on the couches for short naps, etc. until 7:30 we got to the hotel to check in. We then slept for 4 hrs and got up at 12 and started our Saturday. As for the day, we couldn't ski like we planned to because the snow was still too thin at this time. We semi-expected that before coming, so that's okay. As for what we did and where we went instead for the rest of the day, I think I'll let the pictures speak for itself when I upload them. =) At night we went to the girls' room to play games. After pictionary, slap jacks, etc. we had some pretty exciting Killer (Mafia) games. We ended up going to bed at 3am or so. On Sunday we got up around 11 and got ready to check out. As for what happened in the day time, I'll let the pictures speak for itself again. =) We went back to Sac for dinner and started dropping people off in Davis and SF. So yeah, pictures coming really soon =)

i posted this not because i agree.
i posted this because i disagree.
guys.... just stop being bitter.
the moment you stop being bitter and being a jackass writing bullshit like this, is when you'll find somebody for yourself. oh, and stop going for crappy girls would help.

Tuesday,Nov 22 2005, 05:48:19 PMagum

searchng for agum.com on network solutions:

Similar Available Domain Names
The following similar names are available:
fagum.com
ultragum.com
winnagum.com
evagum.com
iragumberg.com

now... okay. those are all pretty funny on their own, and i'm surprised that network solutions can come up with such interesting names instead of just like "e-agum" or "i-agum" or that crap like joker.com or even netsol in the past.

but, i can understand the other ones. "fag", "ultra", "winner", "ever/eva", those are pretty common words. but..... iragumberg? can someone explain "iragumberg" to me? how on earth did it get into the suggested domain list when i search for "agum"?

Monday,Nov 21 2005, 06:25:44 AM

Thursday,Nov 17 2005, 02:38:42 AMsanta clara trip

came down to bay area yesterday after getting off work. i also took June here with me so that she and Jerry can hang out.

in the short 1.5 days, i met up with so many old friends in san jose area!

came down and met up with Jerry, and then after dinner i went to Quad's place for some gaming. short game session, since it was already 10:30 when i got to his place. i should've known.... normally i get off work and go back to davis, after dinner and shower it's already like 9pm. add in the hour or so driving down to San Jose and getting lost in the process and so on, 10:30pm makes sense. then i saw Jerry's housemates Arthur and Wyman when i went back.

the next day, after a series of training classes in the morning, i had lunch with the old friends that i met back in Oregon trip. Jeffrey, Kevin, Amy, Cheralin, Esther all came! (i really like it when everybody i asked is able to come) the girls are cute as before.

after the afternoon training i went to Intel Museum at the santa clara site to check it out. a pretty neat place.

dinner last night was at some china town/mall kind of place. it reminds me of the Diamond Plaza in LA that i went to last time, when me and Eric group went to SB/LA/LV in the summer. the whole place and probably San Jose in general kind of makes me feel LA-ish. people dress so nicely (comparing to crappy Sacramento). and i like all the shops in the china town mall. however, one characteristic of San Jose is that everything is so damn expensive. dinner at a malay restaurant costed us $13 each and we weren't really even full. gas there is ~$2.6/gallon (cheapest) while el cerrito is at like $2.2. even within intel, the cafe lunch is so expensive -- $10 for that stupid pasta and soup meal -- something i could've gotten at folsom's cafe for probably ~$7. crazy..

overall, pretty good trip.
