- About me:Well i'm a die hard United fan.........been supportin em since i was kid.......grown up seeing d golden era of United......Idolise Beckham.....He's simply fantabulous.....Love each an evry United player.........esp Rooney,Keane,Giggs,Scholes........not 2 forget........Sir Alex........apart from being a United fan.....luvv playin pranks.......being sarcastic.......can jus own.......ne1 in being so., but i don changed a lot from wat i was say 6..7 yrs bak...turnin into an angel...hav a betta control on ma anger......which was lik a bubble....1 small prick n der wud a huge explosion......not nemore...wud suggest not get on d wrong side o moi.....betta u'l hav a nightmare........hav 1 reallii annoyin habit....if ya wer 2 pass by i can so easily not look at ya.....wel loosin dat quality tooo dats abut moi....n yupp....luv makin friends...wud help if ya r a United fan..
Why we dont refer to our Club as ManU -- Read this
Man U is not a term United fans refer to themselves as. The term is only used by other supporters as a complete and utter insult to our club. The "u" is meant to be "you" by the rival fans.
An early example of its usage is this chant by West Brom fans: "Duncan Edwards is manure, rotting in his grave, man you are manure- rotting in your grave". The origin of "Man u" is a song to insult the dead Duncan Edwards.
Liverpool and Leeds fans copied this with their own man you /u versions to insult all of the lads who died at munich.
"Man U Man U went on a plane Man U Man U never came back again"
and..
"Man U Never Intended Coming Home" (if you combine the first letter of each word you get the word "munich")
I hope this makes it clearer that saying man u is an insult, particularly to the older supporters and to see United fans using it now is shameful. I hope all United fans spread the word.
So... Please REFRAIN from using this term ever again!!!!!!!!
