It was a local (borough) council bye-election. OUR canditate (and good friend) made history last night by being the first GREEN PARTY candidate to ever win a seat in Scarborough. We have been trying to get elected for over 15 years now. It is now hoped that Dilys (my wife) will be the next (Next year). He got a sizable majority over the loosing candidate. *SMILES* *Sleepy* Tonight we all (Winner & helpers)go out and celebrate with a VEGAN meal_ |
