Just in case anyone is interested.
Just for a day my Friend Maude from Canada , one of my Yahoo group friends, is on a 2 month tour of Europe, and I am pleased to say she came to stay a day with us. I met Maude in a yahoo group run by a mutual friend Melissa (Argentina). WE are all great Beatles fans.
I actually met her, personally, in Montreal on MY 3 month tour round the world, when she kindly gave me a tour of part of that island city.
Maude is French speaking Canadian, but very well versed in English. She is graduating from University next spring, in Nursing.
She arrived in UK about a week ago and has been to the London & Liverpool places of Beatles interest. She has spent the last night of her UK section with us. On arrival at Scarborough station I took her to lunch at the Acorn Cafe. We then after dropping off her luggage at our house walked through woodland to the sea, went on a miniature train ride along the North Bay, and then on the downstairs section of an open top bus (IT WAS COLD WINDY & WET) to the South bay round the Marine drive. We saw the only place The Beatles played at in 1963/4, the Futurist Theatre. Had coffee and tea in the Cafe Heart near the Scarborough Market. Then returned to our house and a tour of the garden. I then cooked us all (Dilys, Maude & Jonathan) one of my "Four continents stirfries" WE listened Beatles music by different artists.
She has to catch a 2 pm train in London today (To go to Belgium) and thus needs to catch a fairly early train from Scarborough (8.45 am).
Maude is the fourth of my internet friends to come and stay with us. Just a pity the stay was so short.

thanks hun! I appreciate that, and hope I get to take you up on it one day... the same offer is extended to you of course, though you'd have tight quarters to squeeze into... it IS cozy lol
