Wednesday,Feb 13 2008, 08:52:13 AM The world Needs Love
The words on the picture are:
The words as on the picture.
The World Needs Love
Let’s keep afloat
The principle of Love,
Let’s make a note
And stay up above
All hate and fear,
Not only for today,
Let’s make it clear
In this communiqué.
Parents, sisters, brothers,
Cousins, uncles, and aunts,
Love is also for others,
Hopefully it will enchant
Girlfriends, boyfriends
Couples and fiancés,
And all manner of friends.
Let’s all hug & shout “hurrays”
Black swans courting on the lake,
A perfect heart do they make.
Their fine feathers they display,
Though it may seem a bit like play.
Watch their eyes looking at each other,
They are not sister and brother!
Their necks they intertwine,
But are not drunk on wine.
They dance as if to Swan Lake,
But it’s purely for their own sake.

What makes you so sure the swans are not brothers and sisters? LMAO!

Well, almost certainly not!, They were apparentl imported from Somewhere, and they wouldn't put a Brother & sister t0gether as the only option, It would weaken the strain of swans!
They were most certainly courting anyway.
Did you see the video?
It is even more obvious

Well they are BEAUTIFUL birds.
In UK the native swans are white, and are the biggest birds that can fly
Ther have to use a lot of energy getting up in the air to fly. Once up they are very graceful.
Here is the video I took
I was very lucky to get this as they usually only perform this ritual once a year!

They are not eating anything there
UK White Swans Food: underwater plants, grasses and cereal crops. The graceful mute swan is Britain's largest bird and one of the heaviest flying birds in the world.
The Black Swan is a vegetarian. Food consists of algae and weeds, which the bird obtains by plunging its long neck into water up to 1 m deep. Occasionally birds will graze on land, but they are clumsy walkers. They need 40 metres of clear water to take off!
Your lesson for the day lol!
No they do not eat fish their next are extremly flexible, they can reach all parts of their bodies with their beaks to clean & preen their feathers.

the lake in Scarborough is longer than 40 metres lol
Ducks & Geese are also vegetarian
Seagulls eat fish though, but they eat almost any food.

I never knew what geese ate. i always saw them on storybooks, sitting there doing nothing but warm the eggs. lol
Oh it's the length! I thought you meant 40 metres DEEP. i was horrified by its depth.
you know, here, we don't get to see animals except dogs and cats. The rest are in the zoo. Lol. But there's this really huge black colored mutated bird called the crow. The crows here are humongous (if youv'e notcied), and they attck the people! What insolence!
