My friend Miriam Phillips, (BUT no relation!) said she wanted a world of nonsense So I quickly wrote this little verse for her NONSENSE In your world of nonsense, That which is now light Would become more dense. With the sun shining at night. Jokes would be serious; Works of classy art, Clearly mysterious, Now become too smart. Last night we played the poetry game. We each wrote the first three lines of a poem at the top of a sheet of paper. The first two lines had to rhyme, the 3rd line just had to continue the "story" or theme, Then we folded over the top two lines and the next person had to write one line that rhymed with the one that could be seen, and then to write one new line. Then the two lines were folded and passed on. This went on till the papers were full. Then we read them out in turn! There were 4 of us playing! This one was the best, and it contained ZORPIA! lol ...
