To day is the meeting of the Scarborough Philatelic Society to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the club.  Been planning this for over a year

This is the cover of the 24 page booklet that I have been producing over the past week, giving some of the history of the club  (there are few left at £1 each Plus Postage).

This is the newsletter being issued today (7th Oct)

And this is the back & front view of one of the 8 postcards we had printed and posted in Scarborough on the 4th Oct (The actual anniversary day)  The Smilers stamp showing the famous castle was produced by the Post Office.

 

To day we will have the pleasure of the Mayor of Scarborough at our special meeting to help us celebrate.
