In 1948 the Olympic Games came to London. As a boy I organised our our street Olympics, every year for 4 years. This was a Press photo in 1951.

I love old photo's, they make me think of my family and wonder what times were like back then. I was born in England, Billericay, and I love talking to my grandfather (97) about what it was like when he was young. He remembers everything still.

My wife's mother is 97 too. You can see her in the Wedding album, that is one of my latest!

I am hoping to write a book about my childhood days in 40 50 & 60's.

How long have you been in Australia?

I was in Aussieland in Dec 2006 for 39 days. I went to Sydney, Avoca beech, Canberra, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Adelaide, Alice Springs the famous rock, and Perth. There are photo albums of all those if you are interested. I was traveling by train/
