Well yall, the big day will be happening 7 months from November 9th. I am so excited....it's getting closer and closer and I cannot wait for it to be here. Still doing some planning. We finally booked our honeymoon and also our hotel in New Orleans. We have a lime bringing us from our reception hall to New Orleans so that should be nice. School has been crazy! I have been doing so much studying and working that I haven't had time for anything else. The same with Jon, he's so busy with work too that we have hardly been seeing each other. Makes me miss him so much. :(. On a good note though, I did make a wonderful dinner tonight. Shish-ka-bobs with Red and green bell peppers, mushrooms and chicken. Mashed potatoes. and... a nice fresh hot loaf of bread. I am now waiting for my PUMPKIN PIE to be finished in the oven. Yummy yummy. I love baking. I hope all is well for everyone. Sorry I am not on here as much.

I have been working for my new job for a little while now. Just thought I would let y'all know that I honestly love it. The people that I work with are wonderful. They accepted me so quickly and we all get along so well. I feel that I have great things ahead of me in this job, so just pray that it all goes well. Thanks.

So I applied for a new job for Capital One. So far it is going well. I had my last interview about 3 days ago, so I am just waiting for the phone call to say that they want me to go into training and we will see where it goes from there. Jon and I have a puppy and a kitty now. We are loving it but also...it's like having children. School starts for me on the 21st. I am very excited about that. Pray that all goes well. Yesterday, I wake up at 8 a.m to take a shower and get ready for the second day of my job interview at GLOBAL MARKETINGS CONCEPTS INC. I drive over to the building and find others there just like me waiting to see what the day will hold. We fill out some paperwork and find out that we will be going out on the "field" today. Now let me tell you, the way they described this job on the phone to me, it sounded like a very nice desk job that gives you room to move up the chain later on. Turns out it is the total opposite. It's not a desk job, their job is to basically SOLICIT to people. I was so embarassed esterday. It was the worst day I have had in a very long time. Not to add to me bothering people in their stores trying to sell them a cheesy product which was a piece of crap laptop for kids that hardly worked, I had to do it in 98 degree heat. All day literally from 10 to 5:30. I wanted to leave so bad but I couldn't because we were in Morgan City which is 2 hours away, so there's was no way for me to get home since I wasn't in my car. These guys were soliciting to people in stores that had a HUGE sign o their door that said No Soliciting. He would go in to a restaurant ( which the "he, is the manager of the corp. btw)  and bother people who were sitting down trying to have a meal and also start bothering the waiters too. I told people behind his back that I was so sorry and that I didn't work for this company. He also made as stop at 6 bars and one strip club. How unprofessional is that? And all this to sell a darn childrens laptop for $20.00. The manager himself held himself very unprofessionally, he was constantly cussing, even to the customers he would say " Here you go, check this out, I personally wouldn't buy this piece of shit, but look at it anyway" All in all it was a horrible day and I went home so stressed out about it that I wanted to freakin cry! Im glad t was so far away that all this happened b/c I sure as heck would not have wanted to do any of this to people I knew. So basically, do not try and apply for Global MArketing Concepts, Inc. You will not come out good in the end.
