qwerty555's Homepage http://www.zorpia.com/qwerty555 Fri, 25 Jul 2008 21:08 EDT Fri, 25 Jul 2008 21:08 EDT Zorpia.com LOOKS OR PERSONALITY http://www.zorpia.com/qwerty555/journal/1666107 GREAT OBSERVATION TO THE POINT:  I was in a company recently, 6 guys and 4 girls (only one of the guys knew those girls till that moment).   1 girl was stunning, 2 others were average, 4th was the shortest and not attractive from the 1st glance (ladies, please forgive me for giving these "ratings", but I cant explain otherwise).  it so happened that I was the last to come and I sat close to the 4th girl.  in a minute we found things to talk about, I noticed some personality sparks in her eyes, and we immediately enjoyed talking to each other.  Look what happened next.  Other guys, one by one started to join us, 2 even changed their places to come closer to us...  OMG, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE EYES OF THAT "STUNNING" GIRL WHEN SHE UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS HAPPENNING!!!! later we all moved to the clubs to dance. Ok, that "stunning" girl was dancing ok too.  BUT we really enjoyed dancing with our 4th girl.  I intentionally asked all the guys in the company that our "shortest" girl really had something in her, some PERSONALITY.. and everyone fully agreed.  she became our Queen of the party.  and the last thing that killed me.  When in the middle of the dance I joked to her that she'd better calm down dancing so seductively, or our guys would go crazy, she innocently said I DIDN'T EVEN START! that was NICE! so, i really had a lesson that PERSONALITY can beat looks. Personal http://www.zorpia.com/qwerty555/journal/1663564 Mon, 02 Apr 2007 04:35 EDT right OR wrong? http://www.zorpia.com/qwerty555/journal/1654346 i made a thing tonight which i am not 100% sure whether it is good or bad... i went to cinema to watch a movie with a friend of mine and then we went to some nearby cafe to have a cup of tea and talk for a while. sevl mins later a company of young ladies & fewer boys came and set close to us. as we were talking with a friend, I ocassionally watched that company. they were regular moscow youngsters, trying to look cool and impress each other, like 17 y.o. smoking and showing off. but.... among them was a young girl who was standing out from the whole company.. shy had some inner beauty, some inner discipline, self-control, but was behaving nice to keep others company., she looked and behaved very feminine... now a short comment.. many moscow youngsters are really spending all their time showing off in front of each other.. everyone in her company seemed to be of that breed.. yet, she strikingly standed out.. but I could see she felt uncomfortable with them.. I thought that was a good girl but she had all chances of falling in the same trap and loosing her own beautiful world inside of her.. i wanted somehow to support her and make her understand that she is much more better than all the others in her company and that worthwile people will surely notice that.. so when we finished with my friend, I went to a bar and arranged for a nice drink to be served to her. I then went to that company, took her attention and whispered to her ear that she was standing out from her company and that one could see she was a good girl.. that I believed she had very good parents... then i immediately left to give road to the drink ... i acknowledge that was somehow clumsy and I am not a such a galant chevalier or girls admirer... so I have no idea whether I did a right thing.. but it all happenned intuitively,, I wanted to give her a hand and make her understand she is on the right track and shall not be distracted by those from her company.. I also wonder what that girl felt / thought in that situation.. anyone can explain me and share some thoughts? please, share what you think and how you view the whole thing? I guess vodka producers are ripping the benefits of this long holiday period... ;) as for me, I spent the holidays with Yana.. we spent @10 days together all the time. after the holidays I worked till late hours and our time together decreased to almost night hours only..  Yana left today to her city, but I ll most probably join her already this Friday. She is having an exam and invited me to watch her work. We ll also spend time with her parents if we have time and then we return to Moscow.  We (I:) decided not to save on the trip cost and we took a separate 2-person cabin in a train (usually in Russia there are 4-person cabins) and we will spend almost 24 hours closed there together.. no cell phones, no calls, just two of us... plus books and some dvds... btw, about the DVDs... I was so much pleased by a great present from who I believe is one of the kindests(C) guys @zorpia - Alquimisman.  I also received a CD and hand-written letter.  Now, Alqui, I owe you a tiger:))) Kidding, but I ll try to find smth which I hope you like.  Still haven't watched the movie though, probably we will take it with us on a train trip. what kept me busy is a workload on a project... nothing serious thoug, still learning the ropes.. Good news: I am now admitted to three business schools in US and all three offered me scholarships (!!!)... that was the best news of the week.  now I wait for the decision from France and then will have a to make a hard decision. I played Civ several hours ago to refresh my brain... now it is 3 a.m. and I have to go to bed.. did everything i could to get tired and fall asleep in seconds.. not feeling that i am alone.. sweet dreams. Personal http://www.zorpia.com/qwerty555/journal/1631924 Fri, 05 Jan 2007 16:03 EDT what kept me busy... http://www.zorpia.com/qwerty555/journal/1627568 unfortunately or luckily i do not have as much free time to spend online as i used to have several months ago..  i was spending all my time working and learning new things in the business venture i took part in.. and i also joined a special program on entrepreneurship from one reputable business school from Sweden... more than that... bingo! i was admitted to an MBA program in states.. now received decision from one school and still awaiting the decisions from 3 or 4 more... keep my fingers crossed... if everything turns out right i will soon write to you from states. and best part of it is that i m not going their alone! we are going there together and that might be quite challenging to find time for everything. I will need a lot of understanding from her and a lot of patience..  another test for us but i am sure we will overcome everything.  thats all of my thoughts for now.. I learned some phrases along the way to, as I had to communicate with them somehow (we all played in one international team), so here starts my vocabulary: Ni hao! = Hello! Zai jian! = Bye!
