In the Name of God the Most Compassionate    the Most Merciful

For a Muslim, faith is demonstrated by the five daily ritual Prayers. These Prayers are so important that they are the second Pillar of Islam after the Testimony of Faith (“There is no god but God and Mohammad is the Messenger of God”), obligatory for all, and they are the first thing the Muslim will be asked about on Judgment Day. The Prophet (pbuh) said:

"Prayer is the pillar of religion."(Narrated by Al-Baihaqi)

This makes the image very clear: Islam is like a building supported by five columns; remove just one column and the entire building weakens. In the same way, when a person stops praying, his faith becomes weak, and the mildest blows can cause it to crumble.

The prayer is so very important that the Prophet (pbuh) said:

"Verily, between man and polytheism and disbelief is abandoning prayer."(Narrated by Muslim).

Man is to live in this world as a worshipper of Allah and prayer is the best form of worship. On the Day of Judgment, man will have to answer for his deeds.

Allah (swt) says:   (Then shall you be questioned about the joy [you indulged in])(Qur’an 102:8)

Therefore A Muslim should perform prayers five times a day, he or is should stop whatever they are doing i.e. sleeping, working, playing, and make a ritual ablution before facing his lord in prayer. It is very important for a Muslim to keep his relationship with Allah, no matter what his actions are. This relationship is demonstrated and put into practice, because it will improve and increase by the ritual prayers. Only if the prayers are sound and proper will the deeds be sound and proper.

During prayers a Muslim asks his lord for forgiveness and mercy, in doing so a Muslim reminds him self of his position in the universe as a humble servant of Allah and his total dependence on his creator, cherisher and sustainers.

When the Prayer is performed properly with due humility and remembrance of Allah it has a lasting effect on the person. It fills his heart with the remembrance of Allah, and with fear of and hope in Him.

The Prophet compared this experience of making ablution and praying five times a day to having a river running in front of one’s house. If one bathed in that river five times a day, would any filth remain on his body? Likewise, the ablution and Prayer five times a day removes one’s sins and also prevents him from sinning.

Prayers also affect the life of the Muslim by encouraging them to schedule their activities around their fixed times. There is some flexibility, for each time is actually a span of one hour or more. But the Muslim who is conscious of Allah will strive to schedule his life in such a way that he does not miss any of the Prayers for example, by postponing a shopping trip until after a Prayer, or by taking a break from work, or by sleeping earlier so as to able to rise for the Dawn Prayer.

Therefore, if one really believes in Allah, he will show it by his commitment to the five daily Prayers, and these, in turn, will help him to live righteously.

Allah says, "Oh ye who believe! Seek help with
perseverance and prayer: for God is with those who patiently persevere (11:153)".

Allah the Exalted, has said: "And your Lord says: Pray unto me: and I will hear your prayer" (Koran 40:60)

Allah also says. "Pray to me and I will hear your prayer" the Koran says (40:60).

Prayers give every Muslim the chance to communicate with his Lord.

Friday,Apr 6 2007, 10:34:45 PMWarning

Hello all

I don’t want to sound rude, but I don’t like adding people randomly, I only add those who are my friends, or those who  am in touch with, therefore am sorry if I delete any of you, its out of my hands. I don’t want to have people on my list that aren’t my friends, they are just there because they feel like it..

Because it really distracts me getting requests that I have to reject, then get insulted for rejecting it.. please bear that in mind,,,, I know am here to make friends but not any friends only specific ones, that I feel are good enough to be friends with .

That was just a warning from me to those who randomly add people.

Sorry,,, I hope you do understand my point

p.s. i forget to say,, for gods sake people stop giving me your emails and asking for mine,,,

Regards to you all

common people,,,,,,, stop it for gods sake, no email add.

Prophet Mohamed (Peace be upon Him)

“Allah said, ‘My love is due to those who love each other for My sake ( Not only to benefit from one another), Who sit with each other for my sake, who visit one another for My sake, who spend on each other for My sake’”.      Prophet Mohamed (Peace be upon Him)

A man asked Prophet Mohamed about the Hour ( That is, the Day of Judgement), saying, “ what will the hour be?” The prophet said, “what have you prepared for it?” The man said “Nothing, except that I love Allah and his messenger.” The prophet said,” You will be with those whom you love.”

“Verily Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection, ‘When are those who have mutual love for My glory’s sake? Today I shall shelter them in my shadow when there is no other shadow but the shadow of Mine.”

Love in Our Daily Lives

  • No matter what your role in the family – husband, father, son, wife, mother, daughter – treat your family in warm, loving manner, and pamper them whenever you can.
  • Loving people around you doesn’t necessarily mean you need them for beneficial reasons. The purest love is selfless love for the sake of Allah.
  • Try to solve other peoples’ problems and show them that you really care. It could make a world of difference to them
  • Try to find it in your heart to forgive people who cause you pain. After all, you are aspiring for Gods reward.
  • Whether people are from the same culture and religion as you or not, be kind to them and bring your children up to respect them.
  • If a person needs your help, try to do your best to help even if you sometimes have to go out for your way.
  • Finally if you read this spread the word, let people discover the real Islam.

“I have been sent to perfect the high moral standards”.
