乐队前身是南京的胎ji，2006年转战北京，更名拇指姑娘。同时变化的是乐队的创作理念和风格。喜欢童话的都知道拇指姑娘是一个多么干净可爱的人物。
有些人会说他们现在的作品矫揉造作，其实乐队希望做的只是通过音乐复原一些不可能回去的情境。所以在小快乐下是隐藏的失落。
2007年拇指姑娘发行了首张正式唱片，目前在筹备的是第二张，同样计划年底正式发行。之前还会有一张单曲唱片《亲爱的苏》。第二张发行后会有一次中型巡演。最近演出是7月26号，愚公移山：http://www.douban.com/event/10164331/

现在拇指姑娘的人员配置是：主唱/木琴；和声/小打；手鼓；电吉他/键盘.
还缺位贝司。认同乐队理念和作品，技术够用，自己有设备。在京。

Shijiazhuang's Omnipotent Youth Society will perform with three local Beijing bands --- Lotus Through Heart,Maiko and Rockcookies toghther.This is the 12th perform of the Indie Lives.

As the theme to say,Omnipotent Youth Society which has a powful strength will provide a play all those the anxious jokes and the endless daydreams for you in the vein of ornate melody and poetic lyrics.

 In addition,it is also a pretty rocky concert attribute to its different stytle which is consisting of Folk-rock, Post-rock,Indie-rock and Soft-rock.So you may be in a quandary between sitting still or high jumping.

　　如同主题，拥有强大气场的万青将和其他乐队一起，用优美旋律和诗化歌词演绎那些揪心的玩笑，和所有漫长的白日梦。
