Requisite yet fascinating and personal band biography Formed early in the summer of 2005, Ruckus & the Trousers is the musical endeavor of Pittsburgh-born artist Brandon Gorelli. With a 50+ original song arsenal and a love of passionate live performance, Gorelli gathered his closest musical friends and recorded his debut Self-titled LP in various locations around The Steel City. Jeremy Diehl and Mike Buccicone produced the 10-song LP. The album contains original Indie/Folk/Rock music and has excited audiences and captivated fans and followers.
After playing a year's worth of local shows and plugging the cd in Pittsburgh and on 60 college radio stations nationwide, R&tT set out on the "Northeast Coffeehouse Tour" in early 2006. With great success, the music spread to 20 cities including: Philadelphia, Hartford, Boston, Providence, Buffalo, NYC, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Wheeling. Upon returning home, Brandon immediately put together a trio consisting of himself (guitar, vocals), Eli Bonello (Bass) and Eric Bono (Drums).
The three set off on the "Rustbelt to Tinseltown Tour" in the summer of '06 and played in most of the major cities between the east and west coasts including: Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, Kansas City, Wichita, Little Rock, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Huntington Beach, San Diego, Los Angeles and Denver.
After a two week acoustic tour through the east coast in January 07', Ruckus & the Trousers have just started working on there second LP at Machine Age Studios in Pittsburgh, PA. |
