En Route

Before I left Sarasota, Florida, to fly to the Eastern Caribbean, I spent a day with Sarasota resident, Sarah - a retiree, who sat near me after I had transited at Charlotte, North Carolina, en route to Sarasota .
Sarah took me for a detour around her studio where she did her painting. The location is near GoldenGate Point. Sarah's apartment is in the Boca Siesta block on Long Boat Key.
Her studios small ; one of many on the ground floor of the building. the other painters in the co-op are also abstract painters. She points out that a gallery in central Sarasota had successfully exhibited her work.
We lunch at a vegetarian restaurant. After, she drives me back to my rented apartment at Golden Gate Point.....Edmund L. Bridgewater

As my time in Bunkyo - ku grew into years being here, Kasuga Doori,the street parallel to the building I live in has been transformed into a convenient entity for me to access daily : numerous convenience stores - some new ; the police station opposite ; and several newly built multi - story apartment blocks ; supermarkets : Seifu, Isetan, Seiji and Santoku ;two post office branches ( one operating twenty four hours ); Chuo University and the sports and theme park mecca - the Tokyo Dome.....
