Scary Guy was a new venture for our junior children and from the moment he
entered the hall to the moment he left he held the children spellbound.
Staff
felt that his message reinforced all that we teach the children but in
a very different way. Scary Guy is a real person, the children can
identify with yet at the same time he is larger than life, an
entertainer with a message but underneath it all a man on a mission. He
left our school; mission achieved!
Children and staff talk about
Scary and his promises and pledges. I use him as an example of how we
should all behave, reinforcing the message of being responsible for
your own actions, making the right decisions and the hardest thing to
do, thinking positive thoughts all the time.
Scary Guy is welcome at Barrowcliff Junior School at any time.
