Eugenia's French Vogue interview:
Eugenia does not have the Russian air and, sometimes, that crumples her. Sometimes with her long hair, her eyes blue really out of almond and her quite right nose, one takes her for an Italian, sometimes for Brazilian.
"However, I am a true Russian Girl!" Eugenia says happily. Moreover, she says to like Paris (where she lives) which makes her think of Saint-Pétersburg (where she slips by on the least occasion). But it is true that she does not have anything but a big head. The features conqueror, easily femme fatale, she plays temperament category, spiced with the mystery. Never child wife, she is more vamp or proud. For its last procession, Alexander McQueen capped very short, buckled like a Greek statue. The beauty exemplary, regular, that with iconic value. Eugenia wants to be model since she was a child.
Born in Kazan, on the edges of the Volga, she is the youngest of a family of four children. She does not like to swim, but always ran very quickly. As a Teenager, she looked at the haute couture dreaming. "I wanted to go to meetings, voyages, openings... all that I have the chance to do today," says Eugenia. She started in Russia, then she was located by the Viva agency, which makes her come to Paris. 2002 her magical year: the cover of the Vogue signed Italy by Steven Meisel then the Gucci countryside, where it she the alter ego in black and white of her friend Natalia Vodianova (photo left), propel her to supermodel. She settles in Paris and begins a series of return tickets tp Russia to visit her family and her boy friend. She get campaigns and meetings, but prefers the shows: "I like the spectacular side, the music, the light, the flashs....I feel very sexy." Question her style, acknowledges a passion for the shopping (just after books ,reading, which she always has a book with her). She has - very - long legs supported by only the jeans Diesel, Miss Sixty or the trousers black Gucci classiquissimes. It likes the Tee-shirts, naked back Roland Mouret or its last lucky find: printed papers form puppies, Dolce & Gabbana. If is in a good mood, she slips on a yellow dress from Marni sun. On the face, she never puts anything over her hydrating cream Lancôme. And do not speak to her about make-up: "I like myself the way I am."

Nataliya Gotsii may be fashion's most skilled multitasker. As if her bustling debut catwalk season (including the coveted opening spot at Zac Posen) wasn't enough, the 20-year-old is also juggling a full college courseload as a finance major in her native Kiev, Ukraine. So how does she do it? "I spend every spare moment studying," Nataliya says. Seems it's all part of her business plan. "I'd like to own a boutique," she explains. "But not just for clothes—I'd sell lots of books, of course."

* Caroline was a good student, even skipped a grade, but dropped out in her senior year of high school to model full time. She said she'll definitely pick up her studies when she's done with modeling...
* She was a talented soccer player and got discovered on the way to soccer practise. She never even considered modeling, her dream was to become a soccer pro!
* She's still got scars on her legs from a fitting when the needles were left in a very tight dress. Quote: "...blood was running down my legs." OUCH!
* She also talked about modeling not being that big of a deal when you're from a comfortable background bla bla, and how she percieves girls from Russia and Eastern European being a lot more career oriented bla bla bla.
