- About me:Samit Roy, a visual artist and a literature enthusiast, has been working in design and creative media industry for past 18 years. A multi-faceted visual artist, Samit combines his knowledge of design and user psychology within different media spaces, with art school drawing skills and a conceptual understanding of the socio-cultural environment. A poet with a graduate degree in literature and postgraduate education in Film Studies, Samit’s area of interest as a design professional is the impact of the context-specific behavior of the client, customer and end user, on design practice. His constant attempt to nudge design practice enables him to create visually stunning and deeply insightful solutions for the viewer/user, thereby providing an extra edge to all his designs, illustrations and artworks. Currently, Samit is attached with Altered Black - a Bangalore-based creative design house, providing Design Intelligence and Branding Solutions.
