yay.. i changed my class.. and tomorrow will be the first day of the art/drawing/landscape class..... the instructor just sent me the syllabus..... this class seems great... cuz there are several field trips... field trips to london/lewes/brighton/the coast.... cool...
... that's what i want... i wanna go to some other places in europe 
and yeah... i finally talked to ben on phone!! he might come over next week... he might stay at my place for 1-2 weeks..... woohoo...maybe we will go to somewhere else in europe on next weekend... no worries... we respect each other... we won't do stupid things... after talking to him on phone.. i think he is more mature than before... em... can't wait to meet him!!
... yee? he is gonna visit me before the summer school ends... so.. maybe i'll go back to the states rite after school ends...

i got up at 7am just to go to the store and get a phone card... it says on the poster that the 5 (US$10) phone card gives me 250minutes to call to the US...
so... i called pui pui (i promised to give her a call first...)... but then she didn't pick it up 
... and then i called home... ah ba answered.. ... but before he answered... it said.." u have 18 minutes remaining for this call"... i was like.. what?!... 18 minutes?... shouldn't it be like 250 minutes?!... so i can only talk like 18 minutes after paying $10?...
... i couldn't even call ga jei in hk....that phone card sucks..
...i called king too...but then i guess he was sleeping already...
first day of class... okay lah... didn't do much stuff...there were only like 11 people in the class... it was like a small group discussion ... and then we watched some clips... yeah.. and that's all about it... i'm in a group of 4 people... and my group will have a presentation on the next thursday... em... it's gonna be like a 2-hour presentation... pretty long.. but then we could do some discussions with the rest of the class... play some games...watch some clips... do a powerpoint presentation... and stuff like that to last it...

yay.. i changed my class today... actually.. i don't really like that british culture class... it's summer in europe... i wanna have fun... wanna take something easy... i changed it to a class called "drawing the urban and rural landscape"... this class sounds more fun... 
.. hopefully.. it is better lah.....
and then today i went to the computer service center and asked to connect the laptop to the internet.... wah... a long long process... and before i got to the last part... the laptop was out of battery...
.... i need a converter for the battery... i think i'll go ask the girl living next door...
o yeah... i got some tickets to paris, dieppe (in france), and london~!... i'm going to london this friday!! and the tickets are cheap.. cuz i go there with the school.... hee hee.. i didn't bring the ticket coupons here... (.. i think i left them in the US... 
..)but the british lady was so nice that she didn't ask me for the coupons... gum trust me ge?...
... i might go gliding some time later... the tickets for gliding are sold out... but they will arrange another group soon... hopefully i can get the ticket ...

i tried to give ben a call today... but somehow.. i couldn't reach him... i think it's becuz of the card again...
...i wanna know when i can meet ben!!

i went to the orientation today.. i was sitting there for like 2 hours... my butt hurt.......and then i went to the grocery store on campus with the girl living next door....em... got some food for the coming 2-3 days.... i was planning to go to the library tour (which would be kinda mo liu...).. but then i went to the wrong place... hee hee...... i wasn't the only one who went to the wrong place.... so.. i ended up meeting some new friends....... we bought the all-day bus ticket and went to Brighton.... we did some grocery shopping... (this grocery store is A LOT bigger than the one on campus...)... things were kinda expensive... 
... so i just bought things that i would use/eat....
we had italian food for dinner.... (pretty expensive again....).... and it was kinda cheesy.... Brighton is like a downtown + seaside.... pretty interesting place... but then the bad thing is.... shops are closed early... some of them are closed at 4pm....(and that's the reason why i couldn't get a phone card....).. when i'm in Brighton... somehow i feel like i'm in hk.... cuz the buses look like hk buses... and then the drivers are driving on the right side of the car.... i used to look at the left side first when i cross the road in the States.. but then it's totally different here... i have to look at the right side first... cuz that's where cars come first...hopefully i won't get hit by looking at the left side first... 
..
and yeah... i got ben (J) 's email... i might meet him up next week.... em... i dunno yet... i'll see....i can't wait to meet this old old buddy....

there was a meeting yesterday... i met a lot of new friends... welll.... actually.. i don't remember their names.... i just introduced myself... and talked for a while.... i remember some of the people... but.. not all of them....
and then there was an open-top bus tour to Brighton in the evening... we sat on the top of the bus.... it was freezing... my hair was all messed up....we passed by a shopping center... hee hee...i wanna go shopping there some time later....
the phone number in my room is +44 (0)8701-481607 ... and it's 8 hours faster than the US time...
i dunno if it works by dialing these numbers....i'll see if i can get a phone card from the store on campus later...
