After the earthquake, the death toll from more than 5,000 people to 7,000 people, to more than 8,000. According to the civil affairs department the latest statistics, as of today 7:00, Wenchuan earthquake has resulted in Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Yunnan and other provinces and cities a total of 9,219 people were killed.
